Omar Gonzalez had some good defense at times but two critical errors cost the US its two goal lead. Michael Bradley was clearly the Man of the Match with a goal and an assist. He dominated the entire game. Much of that was due in large part to Beckerman's success behind Bradley. He should be the one starting this summer. Wondo played really well scoring a goal and drawing a good foul early, while Eddie Johnson looked bad at first before getting it together and scoring what should have been the game winner. Donovan and Dempsey were both solid but could have done more. The youngsters DeAndre Yedlin and Julian Green both did well. Yedlin was solid on defense and was active in the attacking side of the ball. Green had some nervous mistakes in his first cap but showed a lot of potential, including a set of beautiful moves to beat two defenders and earn a foul that was not called. Overall, good performance from Jurgen Klinsmann, but needed to close out better.
