The long road back

USMNT: Now with More Stuart Holden?

The once (and future?) United States national team midfielder is back training with Bolton. But how long before we see him in the Red, White, and Blue?

American Soccer Now business manager Nick Barnhorst is always like "When's Holden coming back? Can we get an update?"

Well, we have one courtesy of ASN contributor Brian Sciaretta. He reports that Holden, who has been out for the vast majority of the last year and a half, is back to full training at Bolton, going one day on, and one day off. (That doesn't exactly sound like full training to me, but whatever.)

There's no timetable on his return to the field, but this is undoubtedly good news for the 27 year old.

Somewhere, Jimmy "Stu's Cute as a Button" Conrad is very happy, even happier than the normally jovial KickTV host usually is. And keep your eyes peeled for more Holden-related news coming in this space in the near future.
