This is definitely nothing like the actual 23 man roster Klinsmann will name tomorrow for Copa America, and it won't be popular with most fans either. Of course, there are many players not in the original 40 man list I would much prefer over players I included in this roster (especially Feilhaber, Kljestan, Villafana, Sapong). GK: Howard absolutely has to be the starter. Guzan shouldn't be anywhere near the USMNT after struggling for Aston Villa--one of the worst teams in history. So might as well bring Horvath and Bingham to integrate some younger keepers into the USMNT. DEF: Need to bring 5 center backs for major tournaments in case of injuries and cards/suspensions. Yedlin needs to play at RB and not RW. Fabian Johnson can play at LB or LW, depending on the rest of the lineup. MF: Unlike the rest of the bandwagon, I haven't included Pulisic because I think he needs to prove himself in USMNT friendlies and less important matches before playing in a major tournament. He is still very young and has lots of time and chances left in his career. Bradley needs to play as a DM like he has been for Toronto, possibly with Jones playing more advanced like he has for Colorado. Nagbe and Bedoya are definite starters. FW: It is inexplicable that Klinsmann didn't have a like for like backup/replacement for Altidore in the 40 man list (e.g. Sapong)--does he ever learn from his mistakes? Again, I don't buy in to the Bobby Wood hype train just because he scored goals in the 2. Bundesliga--I still think he is one of the worst professional players I have ever seen. Everything depends on Dempsey yet again.
