This is far from the first team since these are more of our Europe-based players... have USA fans ever said that before?! With players like Dempsey, Goodson and Bradley all with club matches only a few days after this fixture, we find ourselves trying a few others instead. Diskerud is also a heavy possibility here as are a few others, Certainly Howard or Guzan in the net. The strikers are pretty firm in my opinion. Jones will be the fulcrum. a couple of outsiders here with Castillo and Onyewu. To be honest, I was a little unsure who to place back there with most the MLSers unlikely to travel. Ream and Onyewu would certainly relish another opportunity having been on the outside for a while. Shea and Kljestan need to make good cases for themselves if they're to make the WC squad.
