I don't know much about the defenders, but for this South Korea game, Klinsmann probably wants to make a strong showing to convince fans that the US can compete with the likes of Portugal in order to get out of the group, and to do that, veterans like Donovan and Bradley will be key, as well as goal scoring maestros like Wondolowski.
