The key to the 4-2-3-1 is for Beckerman Torres to stay disciplined in the middle. Clearly, DMB and Beltran are attacking-minded full-backs, so a lot of defensive awareness is key for the men in the middle to cover. I think it's time to challenge Holden and for the attack to filter through him. Gomez has shown enough finishing qualities to select him. It will be up to Shea and Donovan to provide the service, and from what we saw against Guatemala, Shea needs to pick up his game in that department. Centre-backs pick themselves as well as the keeper IMO. USA! USA! USA!
