Changing it up a bit. Have Jones and Williams to win tackles in the centre of the park and Bradley to start the attack with Dempsey, Davis, and Altidore as his targets. Altidore in this formation plays mostly with his back to goal and lays the ball off to the four behind him. The 5 in the midfield should hopefully disturb German possession. Size in the backline to contend with the big Germans.
