This lineup is all about avoiding card danger while still getting a looksee at a couple of guys. Landon Donovan, Alejandro Bedoya, Jermaine Jones, Tim Howard and Sacha Kjlestan all will sit out the 1st match of WC14 in Brazil if they pick up a yellow in this otherwise meaningless WCQ against Panama. While I would immediately send the other aforementioned players home... I am starting Sacha here out of hunch I have that JK likes his current form and would risk having him suspended (should he book his ticket to Brazil at all) in order to get another look at the oft-left-out-of-the-MNT-picture, Anderlecht man. Castillo starts (i throw up in my mouth a little) in place of DMB (who has a hammy) and on the heels of probably his best MNT performance ever.
