I want to use the players that have shown me the most in this round of qualifiers. The field and conditions in A&B were terrible so I wont hold Goodson responsible for slipping on the A&B goal nor Bocs for what looked like tired legs...it was the boggy field (I believe).
Gomez and Johnson up top on a level and wider field are going to be hard to stop ( Gomez never stops hustling and Johnson isn't afraid to attack defenders). Bradley for his passing, defense and leadership.Edu for his defense at mid. Dempsey because he's the most talented player on this roster and can score from anywhere. Williams for his defense and runs up the side. Camerom because he has shown no reason to keep him off the field...he's been consistently good on D. Cherundlo because we see what happens when he's not on the field (The Gold Cup loss to Mexico after leading 2-0 comes to mind) and of course his crosses when he makes a run.
Bocs because of his leadership and positioning. Goodson because he plays with confidence and also his height on corners.
We need more goal scoring and if that means goals from defenders on corners and free kicks, then Bocs and Goodson can deliver.
There are many other attributes that all of my starters possess and I believe that not one of them has alot of negatives.
That is why this is the starting 11.
Feel free to mix and match my midfield, but make sure these are the players that are on the field.
Yes, this is our strongest team!
