In defense, the only question is where to place Bocanegra. I feel its best for the team for him to be at CB, which means Parkhurst slots in at LB. In midfield, I think Klinsmann has to recognize that there is no natural width, meaning he's got to go with the players that give the squad the best chance at controlling the ball and the game. Up top, Eddie Johnson did more than enough to deserve a start. Dempsey gets the nod alongside him by default; Gomez showed nothing against A&B, and while Alan Gordon is magic, think he's best utilized coming off the bench.
