I haven't gotten a starting XI right yet but here goes! EJ up top because we must have a player that can hold the ball. Donovan on the left with Beasley overlapping (I really would like to see Donovan attack on that left-central area and play 1-2 with Deuce or EJ going toward goal), Deuce at CAM, Zusi at RM, CM is my biggest concern but 2 defensive mids are probably what is needed with the CBs of Goodson and Gonzalez both 6'5 compared to Mexico's short speed players (Fiscal plays RB for Puebla so I'm not sure he's ready to move back inside over Gonzalez). Goodson is the obvious option at CB with Besler out and well no other options other than Fiscal. Fabian Johnson is taking one for the team by moving to RB to help secure that side and Beasley at LB (I'm interested to see Fabian play RB because I didn't realize he is truly right footed but he is very good with his left foot when he plays LB or LM). Howard is still the man in goal. I'd expect Bedoya for Zusi as a super sub and Johannson for EJ as another option with maybe Diskerud late for Jones if we are down a goal.
