If Altidore, Bradley, Cameron, and Besler weren't out, this would look very different. Johnson is in for Jozy, Jones and Dikerud are in for Bradley and Cameron, and Goodson is in for Besler. I'll start from the top. Jozy Altidore is by far our best forward and I'm pretty pissed he earned a yellow last game. Not having him is gonna hurt and it'll show when we have no physical presence up top. However, Johnson has a lot of speed and his pace could be of use. If he is underperforming, I say put Johannson in at halftime. As for the mids, many of you won't agree with me. I would obviously have Bradley in, but I would take out Jones for Cameron. Jones gives up the ball so easily I can't even describe it. I get that he's physical, intimidates, and makes tough challenges, but as a holding mid, his job is TO HOLD THE BALL. He loses it 3 or 4 times a game which is unacceptable. Mix might fair well this game, we'll see how he communicates with Jones. And finally, I like Clarence Goodson. I really do. I'm comfortable with him back there, but obviously Besler is better and will retake his starting role when this game is over. Overall, missing these 4 is going to hurt and might cost us the game. I really hope Johnson or Johannson steps up and puts 1 or 2 in the back of the net. Go USA.
