Well, this seems unlikely for several reasons, but I don't have the heart to start Torres, nor do I think JK has the stomach to start AJ or Corona in this one.
But does Goodson start? After blowing a couple assignments early on, he was surprisingly solid for most of the Gold Cup. Given the choice between him and Orozco? Well, either way seems a little crazy, especially with Fab swinging out to RB.
Honestly, I'd be perfectly happy if we left Fab over at LM, where he's been creative and successful, but the thought of throwing Parkhurst out there against a hungry, desperate Mexico sounds painful.
As for those CMs in the pivot, the only way Jones and Mix work is if Jones stays home at all times, and we know he won't, so expect him to finally rack up that second yellow while getting back late on a counter.
Deuce and LD play 90. Expect Corona and possibly Davis second half.
But this is nuts.
Jose Torres is going to start at LM, with the assignment of maintaining possession to protect Goodson or Orozco at LCB.
One other wild card: Screw it, start Kyle as one of those CDMs and let Junior be Junior upfield.
