Beckerman plays very well when he just needs to sit in front of the backline. This would allow Bradley and Zusi to roam around pinging the ball to the outside backs, making runs up the field and hitting Donovan and Dempsey who will actually be in attacking positions. Altidore is the best forward for this formation if Donovan and Dempsey can be dynamic near him pulling defenders away. Subs: Herc, Jones/Williams, Shea.
