Eddie Johnson and Jozy Altidore are lethal together, but Johansson looked great in Bosnia, so I'd like to see him start with Eddie and his speed featuring as impact subs. Beckerman makes fewer mistakes than Jones and allows Bradley to get forward. Fabian Johnson and Zusi are fantastic creative talents to feed the front two with pinpoint passes and crosses. Beasley and Evans are fairly solid in defense, even though it's not their natural position, and are quite useful when bombing forward. Fabian is solid in covering Beasley when he gets up, and Zusi has a fantastic work rate to help cover Evans' forward runs. Neither Beasley or Evans are the best defenders, but they seem to be far more consistent. Gonzalez and Besler are consistent in quality and seem to be on the same wavelength 99% of the time in an area where chemistry is absolutely key, not to mention that they complement each other's skill sets nicely. I picked Guzan because I feel like he makes fewer spectacular saves. It's not that he's not making saves, it just seems like he's more intelligent about how he goes about his business and doesn't have to rely on raw athleticism all the time. Also, I hate seeing Howard screaming at his defenders. If I were one of them, I'd probably start having to dish it back. Guzan gets instructions to his defenders in a way that won't break their spirit and make them feel like idiots.
