I feel only the midfield needs explaining. Jones is more withdrawn, playing just above the back four. Bradley and Zusi have the freedom to push forward in attack and track back to defend their sides. Demps and Donovan are given more or less of a pass on track back defending, but are allowed to burst forward and cut to the middle when they see fit.
