Goalie: If Tim Howard can be the same guy he has been before his injury then he'll probably get the start, but for now Guzan is my guy.
Defenders: Gonzalez and Goodson are big defenders go against set pieces. Johnson and Chandler are fast and will counteract the slower CB's I have chosen. Johnson and chandler are also really good with the ball. Beasley would be my replacement if one of these two wingers goes down.
CDM: Bradley and Jones are better playing side by side than one in front of each other. As long as one stays back to provide support.
CF: Dempsey would play as a CF being that he is comfortable switching roles at any given time. He is good on the counter, playing as a forward or playing on defense. Bradley would be the main distributor though. Dempsey also has a knack for being at the right place at the right time the CF position would allow him to maximize this ability
CAM: Donovan has more speed than dempsey so he should be allowed to play out wide. Same with Boyd.
ST: Altidore gets the start over Gomez only because Im assuming he will continue to improve, but as of right now Gomez is better suited for this position
