First off, Cameron would play as the regista–the same role Pirlo plays for Italy. This would allow him to quickly distribute the ball to attacking players such as Donovan, Altidore, Dempsey, ect. I wouldn't start Onyewu at centerbeck, but Omar Gonzalez wasn't an available option. My roster is also in a perfect world where one of the U.S.'s top players, Stu Holden, is actually healthy. (He is also an integral part of this formation, and the USMNT couldn't play like this without him.) I like Altidore and Dempsey's strength up-top, and if the team needs width, I can always bring on Joshua Gatt or Brek Shea.
