GK: Tim Howard is the obvious choice. He's strong and plays well.
DF: Cherundolo because he knows how to go up successfully. Goodson because he and Bocanegra are a strong duo. Bocanegra because we need a leader back there. Lichaj because he's adjusted to the spot now and we can be really successful with him.
MF: Williams because he's a good defensive player. Dempsey, Bradley and Johnson would connect really well in midfield.
FW: Altidore and Gomez would link up really well and be threatening to the opposing defense.
