With a relatively shallow talent pool compared to the bigger fish, we don't have the luxury of picking players to fit a system. We need a system that fits in as many of our best players as possible playing a position that suits their skills and comfort. This is as close ast it gets to picking our best 11. Altidore should have plenty of support with Dempsey, Holden and Donovan playing off of him and Bradley and Jones can pick their spots to move forward. It's narrow, but with the midfield tucked in, the fullbacks should be able to get forward. The obvious caveat... Stuart Holden might never be healthy again, and if he is, he unfortunately might not be the same player.
