My main contention with this lineup is two fold. First, the defense needs an organizer. That guy that talks all the time and never shuts up. Especially a young defense that has not played together. I'm not down on Omar Gonzalez long term, but all reports say he is not that guy or at least not that guy yet. If Bocanegra is unavailable, I wholeheartedly think that Jay DeMerit has a place in this qualifying schedule. If DeMerit was in San Pedro in place of Omar, is there any doubt we'd have gotten a point? He's the defensive organizer and the definition of that guy on the field that never shuts up. Secondly, I want Herc back up top to do the dirty work that frees up Jozy and Dempsey. Bradley is tactically aware enough to move back and make a two man destroyer in front of the defense with Williams at points of the match that need that. And assuming Donovan is back, he gives width and does the little things that makes everyone around him better.
