There is enough attacking talent to support Altidore as the lone striker. The 3 AMs are also given the freedom to interchange causing difficulties for the opposing defenses while trying to track them. Jones and Bradley asked to sit further back with Jones playing the #6 role but Bradley capable of covering if Jones joins the attack. Bocanegra over Gonzalez is a close call but for the sake of stability on the back line the nod is given to Bocanegra for now.
