Assuming Donovan comes back (big assumption) this would give the US the most effective attacking formation that Klinsmann seems to be craving with all three most dangeous US players pushing forward (Donovan and Dempsey on Wings and jozy in the pure striker position). This group would also (hopefully) avoid the disorganized and sloppy play of the defense we say in Honduras, with Bocanegra holding court at fullback and Geoff Cameron in his regular position with Stoke as a defensive Mid-fielder. Other assumptions: - Chandler's abysmal game against Honduras was a one off (otherwise Steve C. is available). - J. Jones can play a little more consistently - No other fullbacks make major comebacks (O. Onyewu) or leaps forward in form (M. Parkhurst) for Bocanegra to keep his spot at 36 in Rio. I think the Veteran presence would in the back would really compliment the youth.
