The biggest problem I faced in selecting my team was who to choose up front. I toyed with the idea of choosing Jozy Altidore. There's no denying he's in great form in Holland right now, and when he's at the top of his game, using his strength and build to bully defenders, he's almost unplayable. I also thought about giving the number 9 shirt to Herculez Gomez, who I think has shown himself to be a worthwhile USMNT member in 2012. His goal against Brazil was pure poacher's instinct, and the US team has been missing that in the past few years. However, I just can't look past Wondo for that top spot. With the way the 4-2-3-1 system supports a frontman, I think the San Jose striker is perfect for this role. As John Terry told him in the MLS All-Star game this year, his movement is incredible and I really believe a front four of Brek Shea, Clint Dempsey, Landon Donovan and Wondo would really complement each other, especially with the platform of Michael Bradley and Stuart Holden behind them.
