I'm concentrating on actually using the style of play that Klinsmann wants to implement. In that case, it's a nightmare to have Dempsey in the center. He is not the player to make the cutting forward pass. Instead, he provides attacking momentum. Same with Donovan. So, I thought, who are our best mids? Bradley for sure, but I wanted Holden in there as well since he is arguably our most creative player. He wouldn't do well in a Dmid position. I picked Altidore over Gomez because Herc is 30 and is getting less and less time at Santos Laguna. Altidore, meanwhile, is tearing it up in Holland.
