Howard and the back line are easy for now but how much longer can Bocanegra and Cherundolo hang on? No more flooding the midfield with defensive types. Williams and Bradley can do the job in there, no need for Beckerman/Edu. And keep Jermaine Jones far, far away...a disaster waiting to happen. Zusi is a bit of a leap of faith but other options don't inspire. Holden eventually? Would like to see Kljestan get a shot but the coach obviously disagrees. Should really be more of a 4-1-3-1-1 with Dempsey in behind Altidore rather than as an out and out striker. But want Dempsey close to goal, if a chance is going to fall to anyone at the edge of the box I'd want it to be him. Against elite competition might have to pack the midfield a little bit tighter but against the Antiguas and Guatemalas of the world this is the way to go.
