For all thevarious hemming and hawing about them, the (mostly) veteran players here are still the best. With the tactical adjustment of two forwards instead of two destroyers we can create more possession and chances. In this formation Jones loses out to the emergence of D. Williams in the D-mid role, while Boyd gains the chance up front now that Altidore is showing more willingness/ ability to perform a hold up role. Still would prefer a true creative (maybe Mixx?), but until we've sorted out Donovan's motivation and D. William's gained more int'l experience, we still have to keep an eye towards a more defensive posture.
