Keep it a mix of young and old. Bocanegra and Cherundolo provide experience at the back. Dempsey isn't a traditional No. 10, but he can find space between the opposition back line and midfielder. Pontius provides the width, although either Gatt or Shea could fit in there. No Jermaine Jones, please.
