2013 Gold Cup Starting XI. A healthy mix of young and veteran players. Also, players who have not locked down a number 1 spot with the A-Team. Who better than a vet like Demerit than for Gonzalez to learn from. The RB spot is Cherundolo's to lose. This would be a great chance to get Chandler more time there to prove his case. Castillo could certainly use the opportunity to showcase himself to JK without Fabian Johnson in front of him. Jones is the veteran presences in midfield/captain. Corona is a future #10, and many say Torres's best position in in central midfield and not out wide. Kljestan on the other hand can excel there and needs more opportunities to prove he can be a part of the 2014 WC team. Gomez isn't getting younger, this tournament would be great for Agudelo to get more familiar with JK's system. Pontius is long over due for a cap. As for Kennedy, his club situation isn't the best, but this could be his last (and only) chance to showcase his abilities in a national team setting.
