Simply put, I think this is the formation that best allows us putting our 11 best players (at the moment) on the field. I think you put Zusi and Donovan out wide and create so much from either side. Dempsey playing behind Gomez and allow Bradley to control everything. He is the best we have and should be the field general in basically every aspect.
