Howard is our best goalkeeper, not a great decision maker, but is our best shot stopper. Castillo can overlap with Shea on the left. Cameron is a strong defender to cover when Castillo is caught out. Cherundolo will cover for Donovan who doesn't play much defense. Bocanegra will help play out of the back. My four in the middle is more of a diamond with Edu helping the backs as needed and feeding the ball to Bradley who is pushing forward or Shea and Donovan on the wings. Shea and Donovan are there to give us width and cut in only when necessary. Bradley can feed the ball to Dempsey who will create for the wings and and for Altidore. Altidore can hold the ball up when we are in trouble for the Shea, Dempsey, and Donovan.
