First up top. If the U.S. wants to play a European style of play that Jurgen Klinsmann is hoping to teach, you need a set Number 9. Hercules is just that a real center forward. Dempsey and Donovan are such playmakers that it would be a crime not to start them together. Defensevily if you want to be an attacking team, you must be fast to defend. Speed neglects an opposing counterattack.
