Starting at the back, Howard is self-explanatory. I like what Cameron and Parkhurst bring in the center of defense, with size and man-marking ability. Cameron is especially good at distribution from the back. At the fullbacks, Dolo and Fab give me enough flexibility moving forward while providing solid cover at the back. In front of them, Mike B. and JJ complement each other well. I think we've seen enough visual evidence to keep that working. Just in front of them, Zusi can keep the flow of play moving, although he can also switch up with Mike B. as play allows. Donovan and Dempsey play on the flanks with great freedom to cut in and do what they do well. Up top, play the hot hand. That's Altidore, although Eddie Johnson could get the nod as well if Altidore was off his game.
