This isn't necessarily the lineup that I would put out in Antigua, but it's my best guess at what Jurgen Klinsmann will try. It skimps on width, feels a bit defensive-minded and features a mess of bodies in midfield - all of which are qualities Klinsmann has shown a predilection for over the past year. Creativity will be delegated to Dempsey, Bradley and Zusi, with the occasional overlap from Cherundolo. I've elected to bet that Jermaine Jones isn't declared fully fit in time for Friday - if JK gets good news on his trusted midfield enforcer, I'd imagine he'll take Beckerman's spot. I'm also wagering that Edu's athleticism is preferred to Goodson's height. Michael Parkhurst may have done enough to earn a runout on the left if Bocanegra is considered pivotal in the middle. Look for Eddie Johnson, Sacha Kljestan and Alan Gordon as the first options off the bench.
