Let's start with the formation. This is pretty much what USMNT used against a higher quality Jamaica team. They played a 4-1-3-2 but in the run of the game, Dempsey stayed back more acting as a midfeilder, while Jones acted as a defensive midfeilder. This lineup far exceeds their September 11th lineup. They feature Michael Bradley and a fit Clint Dempsey. Now, down to the nitty gritty. First off, the easy explanations. Dempsey has been deployed at Tottenham in the CAM role, and has apperead more threatening than when deployed as an out and out striker. He drifted back in the Jamaiaca role, and I look for him to be used in the same roles. Fabian in one way or another will be on the feild. He has been threatening for Hofferniem (created some of their best play against Bayern recently), and also looked solid in the midfeild against Slovenia. Three of the back four is solid. Dolo is still our best RB, Boca is a tank, and Cameron may be USMNT best defender. Williams has gotten the nod in the 11 in bundesliga, and bradley is our second best player. Gomez, while not that great technically is a great teammate, and tirelessly chases the ball, and can score. Castillo has looked good in the MX and has gottten the starting nod before, at Mexico.
