Klinsmann makes it 24 for 24 (or whatever the number is) on lineups. Really don't feel confident in my choices at all, but here we go.
Altidore is the in-form player on the roster and Dempsey is now the captain so they start up top.
Klinsmann loves Eddie Johnson on the left, and I think he fixes his mistake from last game and puts Zusi, a guy who can provide width, on the right. Bradley and Jones are given in the middle of the field.
Defense is where I start to lose confidence (and quickly). Cameron has played RB for Stoke so he can fill in there. Gonzalez and Goodson, another inexperienced CB pairing, are the best options back there, and I think Klinsmann will default to a Euro-based player over an MLS one (Besler). Finally, I have Shea at LB for attacking width. Shea can pin Ruiz back for Costa Rica with overlapping runs. Plus, Shea at LB allows EJ to make some diagonal runs into the center of the pitch where he's more comfortable.
Finally, Guzan seems the ovious choice for GK since Howard is injured.
