Guzan is a no brainer. Cameron has consistently played RB for Stoke, while Beasley has a natural left foot. He's a veteran USMNT player and has gained the trust and respect from managers for the U.S. as well as across Europe, which is exactly what Klinsmann is looking for. I see Bradley and Jones locking up the midfield, with them both exchanging their offensive/defensive roles. Two defensively tact midfielders (tried to refrain from saying defensive-midfielders) seems much more suiting than three DM's. Klinsmann, I'm sure, has been catching on to that. Klinsmann mentioned Edu's success when he was called upon to start vs. Mexico in Azteca previoiusly. Gonzalez is a favorite of Klinsmann, as fans can see. More importantly, however, is the fact that Gonzalez is the man we all see taking over for Bocanegra. He's a trustworthy CB who coach admires. He can distribute decently, while he's top-notch with his aerial ability. However, I see Besler getting heavy looks if Gonzalez does not step up to the plate for these two coming games. Gomez has been shining in Mexico, while Dempsey will most likely be "ready to tough out the full 90 minutes" according to Klinsmann. It makes sense to play him as an attacking central midfielder, where he's played with Tottenham several times (and well). Klinsmann's got Shea's back, and wants Stoke managers to take note of talent. Altidore is killin it, he gets the nod up top.
