Gomez up top, because his work rate and stamina will be necessary in the hot climate. Torres knows the Latin game and gives us more technique. Dempsey for obvious reasons. EJ on the right, because he showed that he can do some damage in space and his height will be useful on set pieces. Michael Bradley and Danny Williams to shield the back, because not only do they add bite to the defense, they can distribute well (Bradley also helps on O). If Jones wasn't so volatile, I would slot him in over Williams, but no reason to chance it on the road with bad ref's, a rowdy crowd, and opponents who will try very hard to draw a response. Johnson and Chandler give you speed on the flanks, which will be necessary against the Hondurans, while Cameron and Boca will guard the middle. Howard is also self-explanatory...
