Dempsey always makes this team better when he is out on the pitch and although Eddie Johnson has made a strong comeback in recent months looking good on the ball, Gomez has consistently been very dangerous in all previous outings being a nuisance for back lines. I went with the Bradley, Edu combination in the midfield because I believe this gives us the most stability, although Clark has shown very well and is a very similar player to Edu (this starting spot is a toss up between the two) I think Edu gets the start because Clark is a card liability especially against chippy opponents like Honduras.
