I would love to say that the USMNT uses offensive minded midfielders well, but they don't. I feel as if Jones will be a "stop-gap" in the center of the field giving Chandler and Johnson more room to overlap runs. He will also allow Williams to stay up and Bradley to control the game and go box to box. As for the top 3, I think Johnson will be the tip of the spear with Dempsey and Gomez crossing balls in fed by Williams and Bradley.
