Really, I'd set up as a 4-1-2-1-2 with Dempsey just behind Gomez and Altidore. This would allow Dempsey to roam and Bradley to control pace. Gomez could provide pace and Altidore a solid target (to leave balls off for Dempsey). It would allow Zusi to run up the right side and give Johnson, and Chandler to a lesser extent, the ability to overlap. Bradley pushing further ahead would allow Williams to park in front of the centerbacks for more defensive strength.
