Its easy to just pick players that have played with the USMNT regularly and/or players from last years January camp but I'd say "No so fast my friend!"... sorry Lee Corso.
I really would like to see Will Bruin get a look up top and with Buddle/Wondo/EJ there, I don't see that happening but I'd go with Eddie Johnson up top. I love Brad Davis on the left side as a natural left footed player (with no Zusi, he's solid at corner kicks too so he's a major need at minimum for Canada game). Diskerud gets the chance in Dempsey's position. I like Bedoya and always will but unless Gatt practices poorly... very doubtful Bedoya gets the nod over him (I'd be shocked to not see Bedoya get in the game though). Either Evans or Morales gets the nod and I'll take my chances with Morales (only seen him once with U23 that beat Mexico and he was as solid as Diskerud or Adu in that game). Beckerman is always solid and I don't expect much different for what he does. This is where I go with expected starters on the back line. With only 1 true LB, I'm going with him: Morrow (wondering who is his competition... Morales or Lade?). Then Besler and Gonzalez at CB and here is my guess for RB: Beltran over Beitashour just because he's solid one on one (or at least vs. MLS competition). At goal, I'll again go with the 1 player called up the most in 2012... Johnson.
If they go 4-3-3, I'd move Diskerud to midfield with Beckerman at CM (defensive position) and other CM be Morales or Evans.
