Altidore gets the nod because his club form and international form are inevitably going to coincide. Donovan and Dempsey still remain the best threats for their position up top, if Donovan continues his stint, Brek Shea or Graham Zusi in his place. Dempsey continues to find the goal. Gatt has shown that his speed is an asset and he can be a threat as well. Bradley can play his box to box overall soccer and has shown he can put one in the net if need be. Diskerud can be very creative in his own right and can score. Holden can start in his spot if he was to ever be hurt. The back line of Cameron, Gonzalez, Johnson and Chandler is the youngest and most dynamic. Cherundolo and Bocanegra can be useful as well but this should be the back 4 that we stive to give the most chemistry. And there's no one better than Howard in net.
