Bocanegra has no business in a best of 2012 US team. But I'm not putting a guy who didn't play for the USMNT in a best of US team. Sorry Omar. And I'm not pretending Edu or Jones is really a CB. So Boca by default. Putting a guy who only played 2 games in the team feels weird but the importance of EJ's winner at Antigua can't be overstated. If we don't win there, then fall behind early vs. Guatemala...uh oh. Zusi is a stretch but if putting him in can keep Jones out I'm putting him in. Donovan and Altidore better be in the best of 2013 team or we may not have to worry about Brazil 2014.
