To me this is the best formation given this personnel. We do not have a good CAM with Saief gone, and so a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-4-2 diamond won't work- Corona is too slow. In this formation, Dax will sit deep and set the tempo, allowing Roldan and Acosta to bomb forward as box to box players. Rowe and Dwyer have been the two best players over the past two games. Villafana's been mediocre defensively, but fantastic offensively. Eric Lichaj or anything is better over Zusi.
