This is a look that maximizes our attacking potential, but also our ability to be creative and hold possession. I like the idea of Nagbe playing close to Johnson, Dempsey, and Wood... I think his service and control will make them all better. Wood and Pulisic will each be given more space to take on defenders, be a threat in and of themselves, and also provide quality service to Altidore, which he needs to be effective. I think Kelyn Acosta can be a great right back, bring consistency, athleticism, and an eye for service and possession. Every athletic 6, should be able to play right back, and since we don't have anyone else... I consider Cameron to be our best center back along with John Brooks, but Besler is our most steady. Put him next to Acosta to make sure it all works.
