This is really a 4-2-2-2. It's a formation with a lot of limitations, but I think it gets as many of our best players on the field as possible. I'm tempted by a 4-3-3 with Wood and Johnson on the wings, but it's a lot to ask of certain players. We criticized Klinsmann for playing guys out of position, but I don't see how it can be helped.
