Forwards: Wood has been in form of late for HSV, so he gets the nod over Jozy. Dempsey is great as a support striker/CF, and is sure to poach some second chance balls.
Midfielders: Nagbe and Pulisic provide good pace and technical skill out wide, while Bradley and Johnson provide experience and solid defense in central midfield.
Defenders: Just throwing stuff at a wall in the absence of Yedlin, Lichaj, and Chandler. Beasley is experienced, but has lost a step or two... but who are we going to plug in instead?
Keeper: Timmy has looked good so far for Rapids. Barring any injury flare-ups, he's between the sticks.
NOTE: This could debatably be a 4-2-3-1, but I see Dempsey as more of a CF/second striker than a true no. 10.
