Skill on the ball and speed at midfield. Not worried about youth, not after watching years of hesitation, slow developing play, and lost balls at midfield. Attack oriented midfield with extra juice from a new-confidence level Yedlin. Taking a risk with Green but thinking his confidence is up after that one-timer (probably should be Johnson, but I want to see Green). Nagbe and Hyndman shift up and down as needed. FabJo and Bedoya can step in at wing if needed. JJ available for 45 if central mid isn't working. Two murderers up top. Deuce not in game shape. Ream takes Cameron's spot. Other three fullbacks are playing their career best football in league play in 16-17. Risk in such a small squad at mid, but small, skilled creators are superior to slow, ball-losing, low pass-completion rate veterans. If we're going to give up the ball at mid-field, I'd rather do it with guys who can recover and will generate an attack from time to time, and keep the opponent from creeping up, something we haven't seen much of since the post-WC friendlies in Europe.
