I'm going to go player by player. Honestly I like Tim Howard a lot more more than Guzan, but Guzan has been nothing but solid for the U.S. Plus by the time Russia comes around he will be a lot younger than Howard. I wish Fabian could play more as a mid, but left back is our weakest position, and he is our best choice there. Besler is our best defender period. If Cameron gets healthy I think he should start over Brooks, but Brooks has looked pretty solid lately, and may be a regular starter come the World Cup. Yedlins defending has improved greatly and also has the speed to be dangerous in the attack. Bradley is best when he plays the six spot, and Jones will try to push up a little more and be more attack minded. As we saw against Ecuador, Pulisic looks better than most veterans out on the pitch. It's time to starrt the wonderkid. Nagbe is the best midfielder the US has and is in his best form of his career. He makes the midfield much more creative and dangerous. Bedoya is a very solid player who gives a veteran experience and has a lot of talent. Bobby Wood is hands down the best option at forward for Klinsmann. He has already scored five goals, but he is extremely dangerous on the wing as well.
